ExP is a mobile application featuring a unified user interface for senders and receivers. They can use a single account and credentials for placing an order and checking the status of packages they are to receive. We have also created a separate application for delivery professionals to view data integrated from customer applications in a more interactive arrangement.
The client connected us with an idea to create a parcel delivery that would help its users to send their packages to different locations hassle-free. It was explicitly mentioned to make the app easy-to-use, fast and multilingual. Thus, we consolidated these fundamental characteristics into the app structure in essence.
The eCommerce market has been more competitive than ever before. To meet the evolving expectations of the end customers, we needed to be innovative. It is why the client was evident with the vision and requirements of this application.
“As we already had a wide portfolio of eCommerce applications, we were familiar with the fundamental idea of this app. What we needed to do was to consolidate things right and do not let that hamper the user experience of the application. We took our clients’ demand for an easy-to-use app very seriously. Thus, we flagged everything up in all major or minor aspects of this app.”
We utilize a streamlined work approach, where we always put the ultimate objectives of the product in mind to visualize the process more pragmatically. Users can register themselves on the customer application by adding up details like their product name, delivery date, and time and picture. If the parcel’s receiver is not registered, they shall get the invitation link in the SMS to create an account and confirming the address added by the sender.
After accomplishing the process, the sender can ask the package receiver to alter or confirm the address. Once the address has been confirmed, the sender is asked to initiate the payment.
Thereafter, a message is prompted to all package delivery professionals’ apps to accept or decline the delivery request as per their schedule.
The delivery professional, who accepted the package delivery request, would reach the sender’s location at the time added by the customer and pick up the package. They need to update the status of every parcel in their app (i.e., accepted, on the way, reached the delivery location) and the same information will be updated on the customers’ interface.
Once the package reaches the destination, the package would be handed over to the receiver, followed by an OTP verification. The OTP would already have been shared with the receiver in the app as well as via SMS.
Drivers or package delivery professionals can customize the range of their service in kilometers in their application, so they do not get the requests for the distance they do not want to deliver packages to.
The client was our inspiration to keep on doing out-of-the-box things in this project. It helped our team to carve the app right to the imagination.

ExP has recently been launched on iOS and Android platforms. In many aspects, it is a parcel delivery app that is the first of its kind. The company is willing to extend its service delivery arms in other parts of the European region, which we believe is certainly possible.
